Birth trauma is a big deal. Whilst only 2 to 5% of people meet the criteria for full blown Post Traumatic Stress Disorder following birth, up to 50% of women describe their birth as being “traumatic”, and men are also beginning to report alarming rates of distress following birth experiences.

Being with people who are distressed about their births is not easy to do. Often, we feel upset for them, but helpless to make the situation better. If you work in direct contact with people who are distressed and struggling to put their births behind them, then this workshop is for you. This workshop teaches you how to do an effective intervention to release traumatic feelings. The Rewind technique is an established NLP technique designed to “unhook” traumatic memories from the part of the brain which responds emotionally to events. By unlocking the emotional aspect of the memory, you free people from the distress associated with the traumatic birth.

It is an effective intervention, that you can learn in two days, and which will give you the tools to really make a real difference to people who are suffering. Learn when to do this, how to do this, when not to do this, and most importantly, how not to exacerbate the distress or trauma.

Following this workshop, you will be invited to be a member of our exclusive practitioner’s support group, where you can receive ongoing advice and support for the future.
